Mindfulness is a mental practice and a state of being that involves paying deliberate and non-judgmental attention to the present moment. It is often described as the act of fully engaging with your thoughts, feelings, bodily sensations, and the environment without being preoccupied with the past or future.

Key components of mindfulness include:

  1. Present moment awareness

  2. Non-judgmental observation

  3. Cultivating awareness

  4. Breathing and meditation

Mindfulness has been widely studied and found to have various psychological and physical benefits, including stress reduction, improved emotional regulation, increased focus and concentration, and enhanced overall well-being.

It's important to note that mindfulness is a skill that can be developed through regular practice, and it can be integrated into daily life to help individuals better manage their thoughts, emotions, and reactions to the world around them.

Get to know me

After completing my master's degree in clinical psychology, I decided to embark on a new journey when I relocated to London.

Teaching seemed like the perfect fit for me, as it allowed me to share my knowledge and make a positive impact on young minds. However, I always yearned to find a way to incorporate my passion for psychology into my teaching career.

Fortunately, I discovered the incredible power of mindfulness and I obtained a diploma in the Applied Use of Mindfulness for 7 to 11-year-olds with the British Mindfulness Institute in 2022.

Mindfulness has the ability to profoundly transform the lives of young individuals, helping them navigate the challenges of daily life with a sense of calm and clarity. It is truly remarkable to witness the positive impact it has on their overall well-being and development.
